We’re just a few days away from the start of Dreamforce, and the Docusign API team is hard at work getting everything ready. This year we’re sending 30 developers and engineers to give demos, tips and tricks, and answer all of your questions, both on the Trailhead and at dev:our, which is happening on Wednesday at the W San Francisco. But what can you expect when you do visit the Trailhead and stop by Booth #1 – the Docusign API booth?

Your Docusign Trailhead Journey

When it comes to Docusign for Salesforce, your journey on the Trailhead consists of four stages.

Stage 1 Engage in a Docusign or SpringCM demo. Experience first hand what all of the buzz is about, and do so alongside the engineers and devs behind the code. Immerse yourself in Process Builder, Salesforce Essentials, and our Apex Toolkit. When you finish up your demo, be sure to collect a pair of Docusign socks and plenty of stickers.

Stage 2 Once you’ve taken in a demo, we invite you to complete a developer or admin course. If you just can’t wait until Dreamforce or you aren’t able to make it this year, we definitely don’t want you to miss out. Take the developer or admin course on your own terms, right here. Each person who takes one of the brief 15 minute courses while at Dreamforce earns the chance to enter into our daily raffle, which brings us to Stage 3….

Stage 3 Get ready to enter yourself into our raffle. Ensure you keep coming back to the Docusign API booth in the Trailhead, or else you might miss out. Return daily Tuesday through Friday for the chance to win a:

  • Google Pixel 2 Phone

  • 360 Fly 4K Video Camera

  • (2) Mini 3D Printers

  • Oculus Rift

Stage 4 Tell us what you think about Docusign for Salesforce. Whether you just created your Sandbox account or you’re a seasoned pro when it comes to moving throughout Docusign for Salesforce, we want to hear from you. Much of the work we do is based on the feedback and input we receive. Have a stellar idea that might make your experience that much better? Let us know, and you may win a mini 3D printer. Tempting, isn’t it?

Bonus Stage For those at Dreamforce, be sure to visit the Trading Post once you’ve completed all four stages. A special quest prize will be waiting for you.

dev:our

As we’ve already announced, dev:our is happening again this year! 2017 gave us such a smash of an event that there was no way we weren’t going to bring it back for 2018. We’ll be hosting Docusign for Salesforce rookies and veterans alike at the W San Francisco this Wednesday, where it’s free to attend and lunch is on us. In case you did miss the announcement, you can get all of the details and complete your registration here.

Health Insurance and Docusign for Salesforce

We wanted to give you a great example of how Docusign for Salesforce is being used, and since so many of us will be in California for Dreamforce, we thought it appropriate to keep things local. That’s why we’re looking at how Covered California streamlines the business of health insurance. They are the state-based marketplace where Californians can sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). As part of their continuing efforts to best serve Californians, Covered California engages with more than 14,000 agents, or entities, all of which need to sign agreements. That’s where Docusign comes in. Our eSignature API along with Docusign for Salesforce is utilized for a custom solution that integrates with Salesforce Communities. As part of their adoption, they now have an automated process for reviewing and approving agreements from the entities that provide Californians with access to ACA qualified health plans. Their new seamless approval process is trackable, secure, transparent, 100% automated, and available for you to learn all about here.
