Developer Spotlight: Gabe Harms, Procore
Gabe's Docusign integration with Procore's contractor portal allows Procore users to sign into Docusign and create envelopes for signing contracts.
Gabe Harms is a software engineer at Procore and he graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. With more than two million users, Procore produces the most widely used construction management software. The Procore web site acts as a portal for all construction jobs and provides a central place to manage and electronically sign all documents, including change orders, drawings, and more.
Procore's Docusign integration is built using the OAuth and Webhook features provided by the Docusign eSignature API. Procore enables users to sign into Docusign from the Procore website, which, in-turn, enables the integration to create envelopes on a user’s behalf. Procore carefully designed its Docusign integration so they can dynamically create recipient roles, which streamlines their clients’ processes. By utilizing Webhooks, any updates or notifications made to an envelope are reflected in Procore’s software.
Outside of work, Gabe plays soccer and basketball on recreational teams. He also has developed a strong interest in golf. Additionally, he enjoys taking on small projects that challenge and improve his skills as a software engineer.
Tony Mann has been with Docusign since 2016, helping developers integrate Docusign into their apps. He is a published author and an expert SQL developer with a passion for developer education.
