PandaDoc customers who switched to Docusign say…

  • Security gaps

Docusign eSignature has a more robust audit trail, system event monitoring and more options for signer authentication to add security to your agreements.

  • Poor signer experience

PandaDoc’s mobile web browser experience is not responsive, forcing users to download their mobile app.

  • Fewer integrations

PandaDoc has fewer than 40 pre-built integrations. Docusign has 900+ pre-built integrations.

  • Hard-to-use forms

Docusign Web Forms allow for faster, more accurate data collection for agreements. PandaDoc Forms aren’t as dynamic or interactive.

Think beyond e-signatures alone. Docusign has been innovating since 2003 to support your entire contract lifecycle.

  • Docusign is the one innovative platform you can trust with all of your agreements. We can help you modernize your entire agreement workflow, from negotiating agreements to collaborating on redlines to building easy-to-use web forms and beyond.

PandaDoc can work for simple use cases but doesn’t have as many capabilities as the full Docusign platform.

  • With Docusign, you can take advantage of a full suite of products to make your agreement processes smarter, easier and more trusted.

Docusign has products beyond simple e-signature to help you verify signer identity, automate agreement workflows, store and manage agreements, and analyze agreements.

PandaDoc offers simple e-signatures but can’t help address the larger challenges organizations face with their agreement workflows.

  • Many of the world’s leading organizations trust Docusign with their agreements.

  • In the U.S., the ESIGN Act confirms that electronic signatures constitute legally enforceable documents if all parties choose to sign digitally. Electronic signatures are valid in all U.S. states and are granted the same legal status as handwritten signatures under state laws.

When e-signatures are combined with tamper-proof sealing, strong authentication, world-class security and an audit trail like Docusign offers, they provide stronger court-admissible evidence than a simple wet signature or scanned image of a signature on a PDF.

An electronic signature, like those supported by Docusign eSignature, is typically all that is needed to create a legally enforceable document. When you need additional authentication or a digital signature, you can use tools like Docusign Standards-Based Signatures to digitally sign a document.

Many countries also have laws that support the use of e-signatures. Find your country in the eSignature Legality Guide to get more local specifics.
