We are excited to announce that Docusign will be a Peak Sponsor at this year’s largest Salesforce developer and admin event in San Francisco, TrailheaDX, on May 28th - 29th. Here’s what you can expect!

    Product Demos

At our booth, you can expect to meet our Docusign for Salesforce dev team and watch demos of the latest Docusign products, including Gen for Salesforce and our Apex Toolkit.

    Apex Toolkit

Docusign for Salesforce developers will be most interested in our Apex Toolkit, which is a set of predefined Apex methods, classes, and utilities that encapsulate a set of the Docusign eSignature API functionality (similar to an SDK). The toolkit enables developers to integrate Docusign and Salesforce functionality into your Apex code.

Although most Docusign workflows can be accomplished through the Docusign for Salesforce (DfS) UI, they can be customized and automated more extensively using the Docusign API functionality exposed by the Apex Toolkit. If your Salesforce implementation uses Apex to customize Docusign for Salesforce, we recommend installing and using the Apex toolkit.

The Apex Toolkit is exposed from the Docusign for Salesforce Essentials managed package currently available on the Salesforce AppExchange. For an overview and installation steps, head over to the Docusign Developer Center.

    Docusign Gen for Salesforce

With Gen, admin users can automatically generate agreements in just a few clicks (no code!). Users can seamlessly merge-in customer, product, and pricing data. They can also insert or exclude content based on business rules or Salesforce data, such as deal size. The resulting document can be sent for signing with Docusign eSignature and stored back with the opportunity in Salesforce. The entire process can be configured and controlled from Salesforce, saving users time, eliminating errors, and clearing the path to “Closed-Won.”

    Self-Paced Coursework

If you prefer hands-on learning, we’ve got you covered! Stop by our booth to complete a course facilitated by Docusign University. In the first course, you will learn how to configure and manage the basics of Docusign Gen for Salesforce templates. The second course teaches you how to combine Docusign Envelope Configuration and Salesforce Process Builder to easily automate agreements.

    Speaking Sessions

In our theater session, Marshall Nam, Product Management Director, will be giving a “Docusign State of the Union” session within the context of the Salesforce ecosystem. As a developer, admin, or architect what can you accomplish by using Docusign with Salesforce? Which Docusign product or set of products are right for you? These questions and more will be answered in this session! Add Marshall’s session to your weekly TrailheaDX schedule by navigating here.

In our breakout, Shweta Dhamapurkar, a Software Engineer on the Docusign for Salesforce team, will be diving deep into the Apex Toolkit. This introductory session will outline what the Apex toolkit is, how developers can use it, talk about the seven classes that implement methods to call the Docusign eSignature API and show how our partners are using it to quickly develop custom Salesforce solutions. Add Shweta’s session to your schedule by navigating here.

    Giveaways & Raffle

As always, there will be a ton of swag! Stop by booth #19 to chat with the Docusign for Salesforce team, learn how to use the latest & greatest from Docusign, and earn cool prizes along the way!
