Momentum Hackathon with Google Cloud and The Wilderness Society + $10,000 in Prizes
Register now! We'll be awarding $10,000 in cash prizes including a $2,500 grand prize.
Our annual Momentum hackathon is less than a month away on June 8-9! Every year we host hundreds of developers at our hackathon as part of Docusign's annual conference, Momentum, which will take place June 11-13 in San Francisco.
Like last year, we will be hosting the hackathon in downtown SF at dedicated hacker space Galvanize. But this year will be even bigger and better because we are partnering with Google Cloud at Galvanize.
We'll partner with Google Cloud to host developers in their Launchpad space at Galvanize, give workshops, mentor, and give out prizes for the best projects. Google Cloud will sponsor a prize for the best solution that meaningfully integrates Docusign and Google Cloud tools and APIs.
Aside from competing to win, you'll also get the chance to build something truly meaningful. This year, as part of our Docusign for Forests initiative, we are also partnering on a hack-for-good challenge benefiting The Wilderness Society. Your mission will be to build a practical and innovative solution for The Wilderness Society's toughest challenges. The Wilderness Society is the leading American conservation organization working to protect the nation's shared wildlands. Since 1935, The Wilderness Society has led the effort to permanently protect nearly 110 million acres of wilderness in 44 states.
The prize categories are:
Better Together: Docusign and Google Cloud: Build something novel that utilizes both platforms
Best ISV/Partner Hack: This year we have a special award for the partner with the most innovative use of a new API or Docusign product
Hack for Good: The most elegant, practical, and innovative solution to the critical needs of the Wilderness Society
Best in Show: The best and most innovative overall submission
The hackathon will begin with free breakfast Saturday morning, followed by a mixer to help everyone form teams; workshops throughout the day; a Women in Tech meetup; and we'll end the day with a Super Smash Bros. tournament (with prizes!) and other fun surprises. We'll wrap up on Sunday with judging and the awards presentation.
Not yet familiar with the Docusign API? No problem. Throughout the day we will have workshops and mentorship from Docusign and Google Cloud to get you up to speed. You can also get going now with our hackathon getting-started guide or by playing around with our API via our Code Launchers in your preferred language.
So come join us! Registration is also free for all developers to our Momentum conference. We have 20+ technical sessions and workshops for developers as well as parties, coding challenges, and more waiting for you. Register and find out more.
Come build with us.
