London’s Calling: Meet Our New Salesforce Evangelist
Hi all,
My name is Lauren Dunne and I am new to the Docusign Developer Center team, I have come onboard as the new Salesforce evangelist. While I am new to the role I am not new to the Salesforce Community! I have been around the Salesforce world since 2011, starting off as a department Admin and have worn many hats in my career from Solution Architect to “Admineloper.” I am currently a Salesforce MVP, The Ireland User Group leader and host a virtual meet up called Ohana Coffee. I even have a Salesforce tattoo! (yes I am that crazy!)
I am so excited to have my #DreamJob joining the Developer Center team and share all the awesome features we have for Docusign for Salesforce with all of you! And what better way to kick it all off than attending a community event – London’s Calling. So what is London’s Calling? It is Europe’s largest community led event for Salesforce professionals founded in 2015. It is a 1 day SOLD OUT event with multiple tracks: Admins, Architect, Devs, Consultants, Business users. Salesforce professionals from all over the world are attending and speaking.
Here are some sessions I am really looking forward to:
An Introduction to Architecture: This was a widely popular session from DreamForce 2018, but unfortunately I couldn’t get a seat. This session looks at driving a successful Salesforce implementation and starting any project on the right foot. I am hoping I can pick up some tips and tricks to share with you to help you with your Docusign implementations!
Next Generation UI with Lightning Web Components: Learning all about web standards for API in Salesforce is a must for me and there is no better way to learn them, than from a Salesforce Dev of 8+ years, not to mention the EMEA director of Devs, Peter Chittum!
Start using the Salesforce CLI now!: The CLI was something I got to learn a little about when Docusign sponsored a Salesforce Dev meetup back in September and since then I have been craving more knowledge!
Learn to Leverage the Power of SOQL: I am excited for this session because with the Docusign eSignature API, we have plenty of data to sift through, brushing up on my SOQL skills could never hurt!
I cannot wait to share my notes in a post-event blog you can find on the Docusign Developer blog page from these amazing sessions and how you can use that knowledge for your own Docusign for Salesforce integrations! You can also keep up to date with all our latest features by visiting our developer blog and sign up for our developer newsletter and have it all come to you!
Curious about Docusign for Salesforce? Visit the Docusign for Salesforce page. This area of the Developer Center is dedicated to showing you how to integrate Docusign into your Salesforce apps and processes, and complete with guides, code examples for common scenarios, an Apex Toolkit reference, and support information.
Make sure to follow me on my adventure to London on Twitter, and if you are at the event please come up and say Hi, tell me what you love about Docusign and grab some awesome Docusign swag with me!
