Leveling up our Trailhead presence at Dreamforce 2019
The Docusign API team attended Dreamforce—one of the largest tech conferences in the world and certainly a highlight of our year—last week, and we are already wishing we were back there! We had four jam-packed days of demos, sessions, workshops, happy hours, networking, #DocuSignLive and of course, SWAG! We have been so busy since last year’s event and had so much to show everyone. And because we love our Trailblazer Community so much, we have made everything available to you virtually, too. Let’s take a look!
This year Docusign launched Docusign Agreement Cloud for Salesforce—an easy-to-use platform where users can send agreements for signature, capture information, track, and store without leaving Salesforce. Request a signature with one click within any object. Allow customers to sign electronically, wherever they are, with a few clicks.
Under that umbrella we have
We showcased all of these at our booth at the Trailhead expo in Moscone West, where this year we were one of two Peta level sponsors with the largest booth. I’ve been to five Dreamforce conferences, and I can say this was the biggest booth I have ever seen at Dreamforce! We had four demo stations showing our new products and 12 course stations in our booth where over 450 attendees took one of our 15-minute Docusign University courses on site, including:
Docusign eSignature for Salesforce Essentials
Docusign Gen for Salesforce
Docusign Negotiate for Salesforce
Apex Toolkit
And guess what? These courses will continue to be available for you to take online
We had a custom in-booth game where attendees could get the most of their experience with us by collecting hexagons for every step of their journey and entering, not one, but three raffles! We gave away a Nintendo Switch, a 3D Printer, an Oculus VR, and 15 Lego sets of the skyline of San Francisco!
#DocuSignLive
The Docusign API team also did something a little different this year. We brought Dreamforce 2019 to the folks at home with #DocuSignLive on Twitter: four days of Dream Campus tours, plenty of demos, Trailblazer interviews and a sneak peek at the Salesforce MVP party. We had over 2600 live streamers throughout the week and there was even a blooper reel. Don’t worry if you missed it.You can catch up on our Docusign developer YouTube channel where you can also watch more content from the Docusign API team.
Packed Happy Hour at the W!
The Docusign API team hosted a developer and admin happy hour on Wednesday at the W Hotel. We had over 400 of our closest Trailblazer community members join us to hang out, collect an exclusive swag item of their choice, and talk about our products. Even our CEO, Dan Springer, crashed our party. This was a pretty epic night of food, dancing, and most importantly, demoing and answering burning questions about Docusign. It was a great way to start out the night just before Dreamfest, where Beck and Fleetwood Mac played at Oracle Park!
Mini Hack: Using Process Builder with Docusign
Docusign was also featured in the Trailhead quest: the Mini Hack. Admin and developer hackers were challenged to use both Docusign eSignature for Salesforce and Process Builder. We had nearly 200 admins and developers complete the Mini Hack, where they could send an envelope to automatically collect acknowledgments of services rendered to customers once a case was closed. This took minutes to complete and showed attendees just how easy it is to automate the use of Docusign within Salesforce.
Want to complete the Mini Hack and test your knowledge? Follow the instructions!
Told you it was jam-packed! Feeling blue after Dreamforce? Don’t worry, we'll keep the content coming. We also host webinars monthly! Until then, enjoy the courses, the Mini Hack, and laughing at my #DocuSignLive bloopers!
