Dreamforce 2018 and the Docusign API Team
As a developer-first company, Docusign can’t wait to be back at Dreamforce, this year in the Trailhead. In 2017, over 1,700 people stopped by the Docusign API booth, and for 2018 we want to see if we can break the 2,000 mark.
With Docusign for Salesforce, you can accelerate contract turnaround times and simplify the customer experience. The number one eSignature app on the AppExchange, it is highly customizable, including signing for any business process inside Salesforce, and enables you to track statuses in real time. Watch this video to get a better idea of what we’re talking about, showing how BNY Mellon designed, developed, tested, and rolled out their Docusign for Salesforce integration in just a matter of months. Or check out how Retail Capital streamlined its agreement process with Docusign for Salesforce and Custom Buttons.
When you stop by the Docusign booth this year at Dreamforce (we're in booth #1 by the way), we look forward to chatting with you about your specific use case(s), Salesforce code examples, getting your feedback, and hearing your ideas for potential new features. Here’s what else you can expect from the Docusign developer team this year:

Just like last year, we’ll be hosting dev:our, a meet-and-greet at the W San Francisco on Wednesday during Dreamforce. This is a great chance to learn about the ins and outs of Docusign for Salesforce directly from the devs and engineers behind the code. It’s free of charge, and we’ll have lunch, SWAG, and knowledge to throw your way. Sign-up here.
Health Insurance and Docusign for Salesforce
Since many of us will be in California for Dreamforce, let’s look at a Docusign for Salesforce use case while keeping things local. Covered California is the state-based marketplace where Californians can sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). As part of their continuing efforts to best serve Californians, Covered California engages with more than 14,000 agents, or entities, all of which need to sign agreements. That’s where Docusign comes in. Covered California uses our eSignature API along with Docusign for Salesforce to utilize a custom solution that integrates with Salesforce Communities. As part of their adoption, they now have an automated process for reviewing and approving agreements from the entities that provide Californians with access to ACA qualified health plans. Their new seamless approval process is trackable, secure, transparent, 100% automated, and available for you to learn all about, here.
Demos and Docusign University
Learn something new or fine-tune your knowledge of all things Docusign for Salesforce when you visit our booth. We’ll talk about and give demos on Docusign Payments, Docusign for Salesforce Lightning, how to utilize custom buttons, and a lot more. Through Docusign University, we’ll also be providing full courses out of our booth for developers and Salesforce admins.
SWAG
We’ve been known to give away a thing or two or three, and the SWAG never seems to disappoint. At events this year we’ve handed out items from Docusign socks to pop sockets to web cam covers. We also, more than once, have doled out a 3D printer. Stay tuned and be sure to visit us to see what’s in store for Dreamforce.
MiniHack Challenge
We’re once again thrilled to be participating in this awesome component of Dreamforce and contributing a Docusign eSignature API challenge. Details are on their way but be sure you don’t miss out!
We can’t wait to see you in San Francisco at Dreamforce! Stop by our booth when you arrive, and in the meantime, reach out to us on Twitter with any questions, comments, or the latest dev jokes.
