Developer Spotlight: Jeevjyot Singh Chhabda, Ellie Mae
Jeevjyot Singh Chhabda is a backend software engineer at Ellie Mae, the leading cloud-based platform provider for the mortgage finance industry. At Ellie Mae he is on the document platform team, focusing on the delivery, storing, retrieval, and recognizing documents. His interest at work lies in the designing and architecting applications and bringing them to reality. Jeevjyot has been involved in various projects related to Docusign, such as migrating the legacy signing system to Docusign. His current projects involving Docusign include designing an application for fetching data using the Docusign eSignature REST API and Docusign Connect for auditing purposes. He is also working to support eSigning for Chrome-based browsers in Ellie Mae’s Encompass Smartclient software, which enables lenders to manage mortgage operations electronically.
Jeevjyot earned his Master of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Fresno. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Information technology from the University of Pune. His core interest is in software engineering, data-structures & algorithm, and programming languages.
In his free time, Jeevjyot likes to read. Currently, he is reading about engineering psychology and how it shapes software development/engineering. His interests also include running and he is currently training for full marathon. Jeevjyot can be reached on LinkedIn, Twitter, or his web site.
