Developer Spotlight: Alex Cooper, Docusign
As a reader of this newsletter, you are no doubt familiar with our Developer Center. Alex Cooper is one of our amazing software engineers working hard every day to develop and enhance the Developer Center, along with the tools and SDKs you rely on for integrating Docusign into your apps and web sites. Alex works in our San Francisco office and leads our development efforts on the Node.js SDK. He also regularly lends his expertise to coders at the many conferences and hackathons we sponsor – most recently Twilio Signal and PennApps.
After receiving his B.S. in Computer Science from San Diego State University, he spent the next five years of his career working at various companies ranging from HP to several San Francisco startups before landing at Docusign. Although he has expertise in several programming languages, he is a self-proclaimed JavaScript enthusiast. He is always looking for more elegant and declarative methods of coding and is always happy to have a friendly debate regarding the language.
His hobbies include snowboarding, mountain biking and playing hockey, albeit he performs the latter from the couch these days. Alex can be reached on LinkedIn.
Tony Mann has been with Docusign since 2016, helping developers integrate Docusign into their apps. He is a published author and an expert SQL developer with a passion for developer education.
