A Conversation with Dr. Jane Goodall: "We're Going to Put the Trees Back"
Dr. Goodall explores how tree planting efforts serve to both replenish our forests, as well as recruit more people into the movement to protect them.
Today is the United Nations’ International Day of Forests, a day to celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of all types of forests. Through our Docusign for Forests initiative, Docusign is committed to protecting the world’s forests, and in honor of this day, we thought it fitting to share the latest installment of our monthly video series honoring the legacy of Dr. Jane Goodall, a lifelong lover of trees and a passionate advocate for forests.
In this installment, Dr. Goodall and our CEO, Dan Springer, explore how tree planting efforts serve to both replenish our forests, as well as recruit more people into the movement to protect them. Other highlights include how Jane’s Roots & Shoots program is bringing children and adults together to plant millions of trees around the world and how Docusign is partnering with customers like Unilever to plant trees in the communities where we live and work.
Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, is the founder of the Jane Goodall Institute & UN Messenger of Peace.
