SaaS industry HR leader Joan Burke joins DocuSign as Chief People Officer

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DocuSign announced today that Joan Burke has joined the company as Chief People Officer (CPO) reporting to CEO Dan Springer. Most recently, Burke served as Senior Vice President of Global HR at Marketo and Responsys where she helped drive both companies' SaaS-industry leadership by creating and inspiring cultures of innovation and growth. Burke brings 25 years of leadership experience in designing and implementing innovative, results-oriented HR programs and best practices to her new role leading global HR at DocuSign.

Prior to her HR executive leadership roles at Marketo and Responsys, Joan led global human resources for ZipRealty, ShoreTel, Inc., Zantaz, ABHOW, The Industry Standard, and Softnet Systems, Inc. She began her HR career at John Hancock where she took on a variety of roles in building and developing the leading financial services firm's human capital. Joan has a Bachelor of Arts from Albertus Magnus College. Outside of the office, Joan is a passionate supporter of The Human Rights Campaign, Boston Children's Hospital Trust, The Women's Lunch Place and the AIDS Action Committee. Joan also serves on the Board of Advisors for Glint, Inc.
