Electronic contracts and electronic signatures under Hong Kong law

There are relatively few judicial decisions addressing the validity of e-signatures in Hong Kong. There is no case law in striking down or limiting, the use of e-signatures in Hong Kong.

If there is no legal obligation to use a signature and no other formality requirement, the position is simple: Hong Kong law recognises electronic signatures.
